A smile when you arrive and a hug when you leave.
"This B&B did not disappoint. Ildiko was warm and welcoming. Her food was delicious and plentiful. We had two small children with us and this was not a problem. The rooms were comfortable and clean as was the living space. We would recommend this place and look forward to visiting again."

Relax and disconnect.
"Ildiko was a fabulous host and took care of our every need. We had the pleasure of wonderful conversations, while at the same time having our privacy when wanted. The highlight was a home cooked meal ...We highly recommend this option. Ildiko is a fabulous chef and it was very relaxing to spend the evening in, enjoying our favourite wine from nearby Westcott Vineyards. We look forward to experiencing Ildiko's goulash and other traditional Hungarian fare on a future stay!"
Local, fresh, organic food.
"Absolutely delighted with our stay. Ildiko is such a lovely lady and a fantastic cook. She gave us loads of information on local restaurants, vineyards and sights. All the meals Ildiko makes are all entirely fresh and taste wonderful... The Orchard Croft is the perfect location for a peaceful and restful break. We rate it 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend it."

A home, not a hotel.
"Overall we loved our winter honeymoon, just minutes away from shopping and other sights... it was the perfect idyllic spot, with enough of the amenities that a hotel might have that make a trip so special. We are a younger couple (early 30's) but we recommend this location for travelers of any age. Can't wait to come stay again when the peach trees are in bloom!"
A Few Of Ildiko's Favourite Things
A lover of culture and traditions, collector of both cook books and antiques, Ildiko treasures time spent gardening, good country living, and creating the food that comes along with all of it - including her homemade jams. When she's not playing host to her guests, here's where you will find her...
"The fact that we are in an abundant farming area, with the addition of lovely wineries, lush country roads, friendly people, great culinary finds and fabulous restaurants... The farmers' stands and markets are the cherry on top. The market on Saturdays in St. Catherines is an institution."
FOOD & WINE
"So many favourites! Dinner at Inn On The Twenty with a bottle of Dolomite riesling... The Lake House restaurant has wonderful views overlooking Lake Ontario... A patio lunch in at Creekside winery on summer weekends with a glass of sauvignon blanc... Pizza at Honsberger Estate during a live music session on Wednesdays... For celebrations, fine dining with beautiful wine pairings is Pearl Morisette's specialty... Lunch with my mother and daughter on the terrace at Vineland estate, with some cheeses for dessert... An afternoon with bubblies and friends at Kew Winery... Visit and a class at Good Earth... A fun tasting tour with Crush On Niagara, and stopping at one of the newest wineries, The Back 10 Cellar... A concert and wine tasting at Tawse... Relaxing with a Baco Noir from Peller Estate, or a Meritage from Kacaba if I want a red... Having authentic Italian food at Just Cooking in Beamsville, or at Casa Mia in Niagara Falls... In Niagara-on-the-Lake, I love the real English pub fare at the haunted Angels Inn, and having high tea at the Prince of Wales Hotel."
THE ART OF LIVING
"There are no end to wonderful ways spend an afternoon. Taking a drive and then a dip in Lake Erie... Walk the Bruce trail starting from Balls Falls... Rent a kayak in Jordan Harbour and paddle upstream... Bicycle to the escarpment wineries... Visit the botanical garden in Niagara Falls and their butterfly conservatory... Check out the locks on the Welland canal... Niagara-On-The-Lake's Niagara Image Gallery is a lovely stop and there's always something exciting playing at The Shaw Festival Theatre!"
